In this breakthrough body of work, less is more becomes a guiding principle.  Evolving from my earlier Pond Series, these mixed media paintings begin with painting the bold brush strokes of shadows of the pond scape. When I step back and see a poetic play of light and dark, the work is complete.  A time to pause, engage, and fill in the spaces with your own visual and emotional interpretations.
