Al di La: Surge of Expressions

Wisk 48x48
Fox Fine Jewelry, 560 East Main Street, in Historic Downtown Ventura is proud to announce the art exhibit, “Al di La: Surge of Expressions” with artworks by award winning Ojai Studio Artists, Valerie Freeman and Linda Taylor. The title “Al di La” means “Above and Beyond” in Italian. This is a perfect synonym for the surface treatment of their works. The exhibition runs from March 19 through May 10, 2015 with an artists’ opening reception on Saturday, March 21, from 6 – 9pm.

“Boundless Guardian”………………………………… Equine – Figurative ceramic sculpture……………….. April 13 thru June 9, 2013 at Ojai Valley Museum

“Reflections” exhibition at Ojai Valley Museum, Celebrates 30th Anniversary of the Ojai Studio Artists.
“Boundless Guardian”, ceramic one -fire clay sculpture.

Most relished for their strength, speed, endurance, the stout, elegant, graceful beast turned upside down is a turbulent fury of legs and muscles twisting with perpetrating trials of momentum to magically fling itself upright. The figure stands erect in a trance of command, contained yet immortal to the bursting of untamed energy.
