Glenn Vilppu Life Studies and Travel Sketches Antelope Valley College Art Gallery
It’s another great show. What can I say? Glenn Vilppu is a Master at his art, oh my goodness!! Prior to installing the exhibition, Glenn said he had 60 pieces and I said we will need to edit, bring them all, but we’ll probably fit about 45 pieces. Oh, my, my… I installed 59 and it would have been 60, if not for one being delivered damaged. Every piece is amazing. I prefer not to stack and like to leave substantial space between works, but the freshness, spontaneity and craftsmanship of Glenn’s work is outstanding and not to be missed.
The opening reception is Weds. September 3rd at 7pm at the Antelope Valley College Art Gallery. Glenn will be giving a talk at 7:15pm in the Gallery. Please join us for a celebration of a true Master of Art, Glenn Vilppu.
